YourHealth Assistance Application

Python-Based Health Assistance Application

A Python-based health assistance application that provides health-related information and guidance through an interactive interface. Combines application development, database management, API integration, and data processing in a single system.

Overview

YourHealth demonstrates how multiple technologies can be connected into a cohesive application. The project integrates a desktop UI with a Flask backend, SQLite database, external health APIs, and data processing capabilities — giving practical experience across the full application stack.

The Problem

Health information is scattered across many sources and difficult to access in a personalized, interactive way. Users need a simple interface to get relevant health guidance without navigating complex medical websites.

The Solution

Built an interactive health assistance application with a Tkinter desktop interface connected to a Flask backend, SQLite database for user data, REST API integration for health information, and Pandas/Matplotlib for health data visualization.

Features

Interactive desktop UI with Tkinter
Flask REST API backend
SQLite database for user data storage
External health API integration
Health data visualization with Matplotlib
Data processing with Pandas

What I Learned

This project taught me how different layers of an application — UI, backend, database, APIs, and data processing — connect and communicate. It gave me practical experience building a complete system rather than isolated components.
